Notes
The first Mass was celebrated at The Magevney House at 198 Adams Ave, the home of Eugene Magevney. The house still stands today, and St. Peter’s Catholic Church was built next door in 1842. The current church building that stands today was finished in 1855, and dedicated in 1858.
